“We are witnessing an unparalleled opportunity right now for innovative, large-scale private sector partnerships to achieve meaningful results in global development.” | Administrator Rajiv Shah, June 27, 2011

As part of USAID’s 50th Anniversary, the Agency will be celebrating Public-Private Partnerships Week October 17-21, 2011 to highlight the mutual benefit that development and business have in establishing public-private partnerships (PPP) and to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Global Development Alliance (GDA) program. PPPWeek convenes the experts that have grown USAID to the global leader in public-private partnerships, and will discuss how together we can accelerate stability and development in the poorest countries so people and businesses can thrive.   Missions around the globe are convening roundtable discussions with the private sector, launching new partnerships, and providing detailed updates on ongoing partnerships.
